I hope I find (preferably free) program that I can detect a decent level to take advantage of still photos from my computer with a Fuji FinePix 2600 USB connected PC-Cam mode.

Time-lapse options a plus but not essential. For all purposes, I will be able to capture single frames from the camera remotely, without stored on the memory card or touch each other physically, to operate the camera on the trigger.

Any help appreciated.
